How little does it take to build a shelter? How about three people, one truck, and one car? That was the scene at the Low Rider deploy on the 1st, a deploy notably low on volunteers. (This is the reason why we usually don't schedule builds on August - it's too hot and too many folks are away)
Yes, we fit all the panels on a single truck. Yes, that's a Honda Insight in the foreground. We were helped by the fact that we were literally able to drive up to the site to unload the panels - things would have been very different if we'd had to hump panels a hundred yards to the site. however, I just thought I'd show how much you can do with very little.
